  • Gross waste of federal funds or corporate resources.
  • Abuse of authority relating to a government contract or security program.
  • Substantial and specific danger to public health, national security, or critical cyber infrastructure.
  • Violations of law, rule, or regulation related to a government contract (including intentional falsification of NIST SP 800-171 / SPRS scores or DFARS cybersecurity compliance).

  • Reports may be made anonymously. Where identity is disclosed, eTrepid maintains strict confidentiality to the fullest extent permitted by law.

  • Department of Defense Inspector General (DoD IG Hotline: `dodig.mil/hotline`).
  • An authorized official of an agency Inspector General or the Department of Justice.
  • A Member of Congress or congressional committee.

Any supervisor, officer, or employee who engages in retaliation is subject to immediate termination of employment and personal civil liability under federal law.
